Terms & Conditions

Last updated 25 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the CloudShipping Services website and the shipping services we provide. By requesting a quote or booking a shipment with us, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and bookings

Quotes provided through our website or by our team are estimates based on the information supplied at the time of request. Final pricing is confirmed once cargo details, routing, and documentation are verified. A quote does not constitute a binding booking until confirmed in writing by both parties.

Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate cargo descriptions, weights, and dimensions.
  • Ensure goods are lawfully permitted for export and import at origin and destination.
  • Supply any documentation required for customs clearance in a timely manner.

Liability

CloudShipping Services handles cargo with care and in line with standard freight-forwarding practice. Our liability for loss or damage is limited in accordance with the applicable carriage terms and international conventions governing sea freight, and any insurance arrangements agreed at booking.

Delays

While we plan schedules carefully, transit times can be affected by factors outside our control, including port congestion, customs processing, and weather. We will communicate known delays as early as possible.

Payment

Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking. Shipments may be held pending payment in accordance with standard industry practice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
